LT Wallet Privacy Policy

LT Wallet (the "Application") is a local-first personal finance companion for Android provided by Limocon Technologies ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the Application handles financial records, local storage, optional Gemini AI features, export controls, and data deletion.

1. Offline-First Design

LT Wallet is designed to keep standard personal-finance records on your device. The Application does not require account creation for standard use and does not operate a Limocon Technologies cloud account system for your wallet records.

Financial information you enter, including accounts, balances, budgets, bills, subscriptions, savings goals, debts, transactions, merchants, and notes, is stored locally in the Application database on your Android device.

2. Local Data Storage

LT Wallet stores app data using Android local storage and a Room/SQLite database inside the Application's app sandbox. Android's app sandbox helps prevent other ordinary apps from directly reading LT Wallet's private app data.

You are responsible for keeping your device secure, including using device lock, operating-system updates, and trusted backup/export practices.

3. Optional Gemini AI Advisor

LT Wallet includes an optional educational AI Advisor powered by Google's Gemini API. The AI Advisor is disabled by default. No Gemini request is made unless you enable the AI feature and submit an AI question or prompt.

When you use the AI Advisor, LT Wallet may send your prompt and selected financial context to Google's Gemini API over HTTPS so Gemini can generate a response. This may include budget, account, transaction, bill, savings, or debt context relevant to your question.

LT Wallet includes sensitive-data redaction controls. Redaction is enabled by default and is intended to replace fields such as custom account names, goal names, merchant names, and notes before an AI request is sent. You should not submit information to AI that you do not want processed by the AI provider.

4. Data Export And Sharing

LT Wallet provides a CSV export feature so you can export local profile information such as accounts, transactions, and budgets. CSV files may contain sensitive financial information. If you choose to share an export through another app or service, that recipient app or service may handle the file under its own terms and privacy practices.

5. Data Deletion

LT Wallet provides a local "Clear All Data" action that deletes local wallet database records from the device. This action is intended to be permanent and may not be recoverable unless you created an external backup or export.

Because LT Wallet does not require standard user accounts, account deletion is not required for ordinary app use. If account-based features are added in the future, this policy and the Application will be updated with the required deletion process.

6. App Permissions

LT Wallet declares Android internet permission so the optional Gemini AI Advisor can send user-initiated AI requests. The Application does not request location, contacts, camera, SMS, call log, calendar, health, or sensor permissions in its current reviewed implementation.

7. Educational And Financial Disclaimer

LT Wallet is a personal tracking and educational planning tool. The AI Advisor and app summaries do not provide professional financial, investment, lending, credit, legal, or tax advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making important financial decisions.

8. Children's Privacy

LT Wallet is not directed to children. The Application is intended for users who are old enough to manage personal finance records under applicable law and platform rules.

9. Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect app changes, legal requirements, platform requirements, or operational updates. When we update it, we will revise the effective date and publish the updated policy on this page or inside the Application.
